Public Hearing Notice for December Service Change
December Service Change Proposal
Delaware Capital Transportation Public Hearing Notice
The Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC) conducts Public Hearing Workshops throughout the State at least twice each year, in the spring and the fall, to obtain comments from riders and the public on proposed changes to DART First State Bus Services that usually become effective in May and December.
DTC is very interested in hearing from and communicating to its riders and the public about its transportation programs and services. When DTC announces a Public Hearing Workshop for each service change, the service proposal is available for public review at most libraries, state service centers and at the reception desks of DART First State offices and the DelDOT Administration Building in Dover, and here on the DART First State website.
At the hearing, a hearing reporter will officially transcribe comments intended for the record by the public. Persons having hearing disabilities who need interpreters should contact the Delaware Transit Corporation in writing before attending the public hearing. People unable to attend may send their comments to DART First State Public Hearing, P.O. Box 1670, Wilmington, DE 19899-1670. Comments can be emailed to Public Hearing On-Line Comment Form
The Delaware Transit Corporation has the legal authority in Delaware for initiating public transit service changes as defined in Title 2 Chapter 13 section 1309 of the Delaware Code.
The Delaware Transit Corporation also invites riders and the public to provide suggestions and comments to DTC throughout the year via the Customer Feedback form.
Please check this page regularly, especially in the early spring and fall, for announcements of DTC Public Hearing Workshop's dates, times, and locations.
