Answering The Call at the Claymont Train Station - This past January, it was discovered that the heater was not working at the Claymont Train Station. The temperature would not rise any higher than 19°F, causing the station guards to work in a very dangerous condition.
Once the situation was discovered and reported, Michael Smith of DTC Facilities, immediately addressed the poor conditions. On the day following this discovery, the station heater had been replaced.
The quick action of Mike and Facilities protected the guards from harm, and assured our rail passengers that they had appropriate security and safety protection at the station.

He has maintained a perfect attendance record, accepts all jobs assigned and gives 100% effort in everything he does in the maintenance department.
