WHO IS DARTLEY?

DARTLEY is here to make your journey even more exciting! Representing DART’s commitment to connecting our community, DARTLEY is more than just a mascot—he’s a symbol of fun, inclusivity, and togetherness. Born on June 27, DARTLEY brings bright energy wherever he goes. Whether you’re commuting, exploring, or celebrating, he’s here to add a little extra joy to your day!

HOW IT ALL STARTED

The concept of DARTLEY came to life through the creativity and vision of Malasia Reid, Marketing, Communication, and Outreach Specialist. While the idea of a mascot had been discussed previously, Malasia was the driving force who brought the idea to life. She shaped DARTLEY’s design, drawing inspiration from mascots at other transit agencies to create a character that is both unique and approachable. Through her leadership initiatives, she ensured DARTLEY would not just entertain, but also embody the agency’s values of connectivity, reliability, and community spirit. Today, DARTLEY stands as a vibrant symbol of DART’s commitment to engaging, educating, and inspiring communities across the region.
