This Year's Theme: "Its Easy Being Green, While Riding DART."
Students were asked to create an artistic poster illustrating how public transit adds to a greener Delaware. Visit DartFirstState.com to get some ideas and view past contest entries.
Eligibility: Children in Grades 6 through 12.
Judging & Awards: DART First State judged the entries for originality, theme presentation, and artistic quality. A First Place winner was chosen from each grade and from those winners, a Grand Prize Winner was selected. All winners received an award certificate and gifts from DART First State and game tickets from the Blue Rocks baseball team. All entrants received a certificate of participation.
