THIS YEAR'S THEME: "DART, Your Community Connector" With continuous growth of Delaware communities, DART wants to use the opportunity to inform and promote the advantages of using public transit. Increased awareness of Delaware's public transit system informs new and current commuters, that DART is and can be their connection to and from their communities and surrounding neighborhoods, within the state of Delaware. Eligibility: Children in Grades 6 through 12.
Judging & Awards: DART First State judged the entries for originality, theme presentation, and artistic quality. A First Place winner was chosen from each grade and from those winners, a Grand Prize Winner was selected. All winners received an award certificate and gifts from DART First State's business partners. All entrants received a certificate of participation. All artwork becomes the property of DART First State and may be used in future advertising or promotional materials with appropriate credit to the artist.
